Authentication Troubleshooting

🚫 Cannot Log In

Symptom: Users are redirected back to login or receive a 403.

Cause: OAuth2 provider misconfiguration or invalid credentials.

Resolution:

Double-check client ID and client secret values.
Ensure the redirect URI is registered correctly in your identity provider.
Make sure the app is deployed over HTTPS and not localhost (for most providers).

Symptom: Login redirects repeatedly and fails to complete.

Cause: Session misconfiguration or cookies being blocked.

Resolution:

Clear cookies and try again.
Check if your domain is using SameSite=Strict cookies in a cross-origin setup.
